Awards are granted for a wide range of categories and project types.

The annual SARA National Design Awards and the first AI design category in partnership with ArkDesign.AI is now open for submissions, inviting entries from architects across North America.
This competition seeks to set new standards of excellence in AI-assisted architectural design. Participants have the chance to showcase innovative work and join a prestigious club of AI architects.
Entries should demonstrate the use of AI Generate features in multi-family and mixed-use project designs, showcasing an understanding of the special capabilities to automate the design process. A jury of prominent SARA architects will review submissions based on creativity, design innovation, and appropriate use of the AI Generate tools.

Award recipients will be notified September 2025.
Awards will be presented at the National Design Awards Celebration, November 15th at the National Building Museum in Washington DC. Entrants and winners will be invited to attend along with their clients, consultants, contractors, fellow students, professors, and families.
