Feature A: Lock feature in Lot Editor
Steps to Create a More Precise Shape by Locking Dimensions and Angles:
Dimension Lock:
- Click on the desired lot line.
- A dimension box will appear with lock and pen icons.
- Click the lock icon to fix the dimension.
Angle lock
- Click on any corner (angle) of the lot.
- An angle box will appear with a lock icon.
- Enter the desired angle value in the box to adjust it.
- Click the lock icon to fix the angle.
Note* These features work the same way in the schematic section and floor editor.
Feature B: Irregular Floor Shape Editing
Move Vertex Tool
You can now directly reshape geometry by adjusting wall vertices:
Workflow
- Activate Move Vertex Tool
- Drag the vertex (control point) to reshape
This allows rapid form testing, especially for irregular plots, setbacks, and angled boundaries — while preserving connected geometry.
Feature C: Parallel Adjustment via Vertex Mode
Enclosed Area Tool
Steps:
- Enable Move Vertex tool (
) - Hold Alt and select reference wall
- Move the vertex while maintaining parallel alignment
Feature D: Create Parallel Walls
Enclosed Area Tool
Steps:
- Activate Enclosed Area Tool (
) - Hold Alt and select reference wall
- Drag to generate a parallel wall
Condition: The area must be enclosed.
This feature is especially useful for corridor layouts, double-loaded planning, and consistent unit d
Feature E: Create Parallel Walls with Build Wall Tool
Steps to Create a Wall Parallel to Another Wall:
- Select the Enclosed Area Tool.
- Activate the Move Vertex Tool.
- Start creating the wall.
- Click to place the first point.
- Drag the mouse to define the wall direction.
- Hover over the reference wall and wait a few seconds.
- Once the reference wall highlights, parallel mode is activated.
- Continue dragging and place the wall — it will align parallel to the reference wall.
Feature F: Removing and Adjusting Split Points
Enclosed Area Tool
Steps:
- Simply enable the Move Vertex tool
- Double-click on the ‘Vertex’ (Dot) to remove them.
Feature G: Align vertical core to wall – Shift key method
Steps:
- Add a core to the project and navigate to the floor where you want to place the core.
- Start positioning the core and hover your cursor over the reference wall until it highlights.
- Press the Shift key- the core will automatically align to the wall.
- Click to place the core and select the affected floors then approve.
Feature H: Align Vertical Core to Wall
Vertical Core Rotate Tool Alignment
Steps:
- Select staircase or elevator core
- Press and hold Alt
- Select the target wall
- Use the Rotate Tool (
) - Snap and attach the core to the wall
